Reopening Protocols
REQUEST AN APPOINTMENT
We are excited to finally have our patients coming back to continue with cleanings and treatments.
In the coming days, you will be contacted to confirm any existing appointment. If you would like to reschedule please contact us as soon as possible.
We will also be rescheduling all appointments that were cancelled during the shutdown.
Enhanced Infection Controls
We are taking extended measures to further protect all our patients and team with the following additional protocols:
- All of our staff members have upgraded their protective gear. This includes appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for all appointments. Just as before, between patients, we meticulously clean, disinfect rooms and all surfaces, as well as sterilize instruments.
- We pre-screen patients in advance for COVID-19 symptoms and risk factors to ensure our clinic stays COVID-free.
- In addition to the new doors that enclose individual operatories, high efficiency air HEPA purification units will be installed in the coming weeks to eliminate airborne infectious agents, bio aerosols, odours, chemicals and VOCs.
- Before your appointment, we kindly ask that you stay in your car or a safe place instead of the waiting room until we’re ready to seat you in your personal operatory. To minimize patient to patient contacts, simply call us when you arrive in the building, and we will let you know when we’re ready for you.
What To Expect
Because of the latest recommendations, if you come for an appointment, things may feel a bit different for the time being:
- Hands must be sanitized when entering into the office.
- Upon arrival you will also have your temperature checked and go through the screening questions again.
- All patients must wear a mask while in office and immediately after treatment.
- Except in the case of parents accompanying young children, only the patient being treated will be permitted in the office and waiting room.
- To prevent sharing germs, there are no toys or magazines in the waiting room.
- At the beginning of every appointment, you will be asked to pre-rinse with Peroxyl. Peroxyl Mouth Rinse has anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties.
Thank You to All Our Patients
Thank you from all of us at the office for your patience and understanding during this difficult time. We hope that you and yours are well, and we look forward to seeing you at your next appointment.
Sincerely,
Bay Bloor Dental
